Create your own one-of-a-kind opossum head mount in this beginner-friendly, hands-on taxidermy workshop!
Students will be guided step-by-step through the process of creating a lifelike opossum head mount using a professionally pre-tanned pelt. You’ll learn the fundamentals of form preparation, facial shaping, ear and eye placement, mounting, and finishing techniques while creating a unique piece to take home.
No prior taxidermy experience is needed, and there is no skinning, dissection, or chemical tanning involved. All specimens are prepared in advance and all materials and tools needed for the class are provided.

Suggested for ages 10+ and up. No material sharing allowed. Only ticket holders are allowed in the classroom.

Ticket is for one person only, we do not have extra space in the shop. Classes are 16+ unless otherwise specified. Please call to obtain special permission for kids, if they really want to learn, we would love to have them!
