Scientific Journaling & Drawing Class: Illustrate the Curiosities of Black Moth
Join us for a unique scientific journaling and drawing class at Black Moth where we'll explore and draw a variety of fascinating objects from the shop's collection. Participants will engage in the art of observation, capturing detailed illustrations of natural curiosities such as bones, feathers and taxidermy. You'll feel like an early explorer documenting the wonders of the natural world, blending scientific accuracy with an "old-timey" artistic style.
Bring your own sketchbook for a personal and romantic touch, or use the materials provided. This class is perfect for anyone with a love of art, nature, and discovery. Come explore, draw and be inspired.

Ticket is for one person only, we do not have extra space in the shop. Classes are 16+ unless otherwise specified. Please call to obtain special permission for kids, if they really want to learn, we would love to have them!
If you are unable to attend a class due to a scheduling conflict, a refund will be issued with a minimum 48 hour notice. This notice provides us time to fill your seat. Anything outside of a 48 hour notice will not be issued a refund. Thank you for respecting our class policy! A lot of work and time goes into these classes.
